- Comments and Messaging Guidelines
You are solely responsible for the content or material you publish on PIXLINK.
- This pertains to any type of message, text or characters sent via Email, MMS, SMS, WAP or Web to a users media, account inbox, SMS or MMS Inbox, private or public chatrooms, forums and the like.
- The Community Team reserves the right to ban you from the service, or remove at any time without notice any material or content posted on PIXLINK, if you violated any of the Terms and Conditions (TAC) of PIXLINK and the guidelines of the service.
- The following conducts are strictly not allowed within PIXLINK:
- Double posting of replies or messages.
- Inappropriate posting of topics.
- Trolling or provoking other members to flame.
- Posting of messages that sell any goods, products or services, including your own goods, products or services, nor shall you use the forums as an auction or bidding site.
- Posting messages that discuss or motivate other users to discuss free browsing techniques (FBTs) or any form of hacking.
- Using one's name/nick/username to tag posts, or using off-topic words to tag posts. Tags must be related to the topic you discuss in your post and should never be user-centric.
Sanctions for Minor Violations:
First warning PM (private message) from Moderators or the Admin.
Second Warning PM (private message) from Moderators or the Admin
Third Warning Indefinite blocking/banning of forum account or deletion if deemed appropriate.
Major Violations: Mainly composed of, but not limited to:
- Excessive or abusive spamming (including one-liner posts/replies).
- Creation of senseless topics including repeat/spam threads.
- Direct or indirect flaming.
- Disrespectful/abusive behavior toward the Admin, Moderator, or other forum members.
- Posting of lewd, sexual or pornographic pictures or links (hentai, ecchi or such).
- Publishing offensive or objectionable content. You are expected to AVOID posting of materials, content or even links leading to such material or content, which are considered sexually explicit, offensive, unlawful or plainly violative of the PIXLINK Terms and Conditions
- Asking for or encouraging other members to post any other material, content or link that are considered objectionable or unlawful according to the TAC
- Asking for or encouraging other members to feature content that promotes illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, human trafficking, prostitution, terrorism, illegal recruitment, scams, child abuse, copyright infringement and other forms of crime.
- Harassment of fellow bloggers. You are expected to respect other members. Challenge one anothers opinions and points of view, but do not resort to slander, flaming, or personal attacks that disrupt others use of the service. Such actions will not be tolerated.
Reports on harassment will be investigated and offenders will be given warning. Repeated offense by any member will be considered as purposefully violating the TAC and community guidelines and will therefore be enough reason for the PIXLINK Team to ban the repeat offender from the service.
Sanctions for Major Violations:
First warning: PM (private message) from Moderators or the Admin
Second warning: Indefinite blocking of forum account or deletion if deemed appropriate.
Forum violators will be given a chance to explain their side before serving their sanction within 48 hours from receipt of PM (private message) from any Moderator or Admin.
- Uploading Guidelines
- You are solely responsible for the pictures, videos or other materials you publish.
- The PIXLINK team reserves the right to censor, withhold approval or remove materials; modify tags and titles at its own discretion without notice any material or content you upload; or ban you from the service if they violated any of the Terms and Conditions (TAC) and the community guidelines.
- PROHIBITED MATERIALS. To ensure that your materials are approved, apply these guidelines as you upload content and select tags. The service restricts or prohibits articles, keywords, images, and multimedia files that include, but are not limited to the following:
- Materials that contain complete or partial nudity and suggestive activities or positions.
- Materials that contain any form of profanities be it visual or verbal.
- Materials that display graphic violence and promote or glorify violence including but not limited to torture, mutilation, and rape.
- Materials that promote illegal drugs and substance abuse.
- Materials that depict activities or rituals, or use text of a certain religion to ridicule its followers.
- Materials explicitly depicting items for sale.
- Materials that promote pyramid scams, illegal contests, and other unlawful schemes.
- Material advertising ones self including those that indicate telephone or mobile number and email address and any form of self-promotion.
- Materials that damage Globe Telecom and its subsidiaries, and promote direct competition.
- COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS. To protect our users from possible legal consequences, copyrighted materials are also prohibited. These include the following:
- Images and videos that are lifted from other published sources whether online or printed including but not limited to magazines, books, posters, and websites.
- Artwork and fanart that do not belong to the uploader
- Screen captures and scanned pages of another published document including but not limited to movies, comic books, posters, paintings, magazines and other websites.
- TAGS AND TITLES. Tags and titles are also moderated to guarantee a healthy environment within Pixlink. Hence, the following are prohibited and will be changed accordingly.
- Tags and titles with contact details such as landline or mobile numbers sand e-mail addresses.
- Tags and titles that contain any form of profanity and blasphemy
- Tags and titles that promote any illegal activity
- Tags and titles meant to get the top spot on the tag list such as "Aa" or "0000."
- SANCTIONS. Users who violate the community rules will be sanctioned depending on the gravity of their violations. The following are considered major offenses:
- Complete nudity
- Raw, cruel violence such as torture, mutilation and rape
- Content damaging Globe or promoting direct competition
One major violation is sufficient to bar the user from the service permanently. Meanwhile, users committing minor violations will be given a warning per instance (which covers all uploads within the 24-hour timeframe). Users will then be barred from the service on the third instance.
- Users who wish to dispute the disapproval, censorship or modification of their materials or their sanction may do so by contacting the moderator.
- Termination and Cancellation of Account
If you asked for cancellation of your account on PIXLINK, your cancellation will take effect immediately. After cancellation, you will no longer have access to your account and all information contained therein may be deleted by Globe. Globe accepts no liability for such deleted information or content.
You agree that Globe, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, and/or account, and remove and discard any content within your account, for any reason, including and without limitation, the lack of use, or if Globe believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the Terms and Conditions. Globe may also in its sole discretion and at any time, discontinue providing the service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the community under any provision of the Terms and Conditions may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that Globe may immediately deactivate or delete your PIXLINK account, as applicable, and all related information and files. Globe reserves the right to bar any further access to such files or the service. You agree that Globe shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the service.
