      PIXLINK lets you upload your mobile media, share them, and publish them, all with a single click. All you need to do is snap away, and PIXLINK will handle all the rest. Your captured media is automatically categorized, and uploaded to your personal online account thanks to PIXLINK's lightweight mobile client. Once uploaded, you can publish, share, edit and manage you media. You can create your own personal profile on PIXLINK, and connect with other PIXLINK users as well to discuss and rate media.

      • You must enjoy taking pictures/videos and sharing them with friends and family.

      • STEP 1: Log on to http://pixlink.com.ph.
      • STEP 2: Click on join now and fill out the registration form.

      That means we currently do not support your handset. But worry not; we are constantly in the process of adding new phones to our supported list. Check back in a while to see if we offer it or not. In the meantime, continue using PIXLINK's online site for uploading, sharing and publishing.

    3. [Back to Top]I did not receive the verification link on my phone. What do I do?

      There are many reasons to explain why you have not yet received your verification link. However, you may always try again.

      Log-on to your PIXLINK account on the web. Go to > My Account: fill in your mobile number then click "verify".

      You should receive an SMS on your mobile phone momentarily.

      If you still encounter problems, let us know. You may reach us by dialing 211 on your Globe mobile phone or 7301000 from any landline.

    4. [Back to Top]What do I do if I am unable to register/verify my registration via WAP?

      If you receive the error message “unable to process your request” and are unable to register or verify registration via WAP then there’s no need to panic. This simply means you’ve connected to PIXLINK using the wrong GRPS access point.

      When prompted to select an access point, simply choose: myGlobe Connect.

      If you are not prompted to select an access point, you may consider enabling myGlobe Connect as your device’s default access point with use of the following instructions:

      Nokia
      If you are using a Nokia handset, simply change your access point by going to: Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points; then select myGlobe Connect. Click options then, "set as default".

      Sony Ericsson
      If you are using a Sony Ericsson, simply change your access point by going to: Menu > Choose Settings. Press Left Navigation Key to go to Connectivity. Scroll Down and click Data Communication > Data Accounts, then choose and set myGlobe Connect as your default access point.

      You may also not have the proper configuration settings on your phone. To make sure you have the proper settings, just text GO<space>Phone Model,1234 to 2951 (ex. GO<space>Nokia N73,1234. You will receive an SMS with instructions to download your WAP / GPRS settings for your particular handset. Please supply 1234 as a password when prompted. For more assistance, you may check Globe's customer service portal at http://customerservice.globe.com.ph for particular instructions for your handset.

      After you sign up, you will be required to verify and validate your mobile number. As soon as you validate your mobile number, you will be redirected to a WAP site from where the PIXLINK mobile application will automatically start downloading on your device. You may choose to interrupt the installation and obtain it later by navigating to My Account > Get PIXLINK Mobile Application.

      3. Open the link and download application for free. (Be sure to use myGlobe Connect as your GPRS access point). Proceed with regular installation.

      Using data cable
      1. Using the data cable, connect your mobile device to PC.
      2. From the two modes of operation, (i.e. PC Suite and Data Storage) select PC Suite.
      3. Launch PC Suite.
      4. Double click the installer pack provided to you.
      5. The PC Suite will ask for confirmation to install the selected application. Click OK. The rest of the installation will then take place on the mobile device.
      6. Select "Yes" on the device when inquired about installing the application.
      7. Select "Continue" on the details screen.
      8. On the warning screen, select "Yes" to continue with the application installation.
      9. On the memory selection screen, choose either the phone memory or the memory card for installing the application to.
      10. Once selected, the application will inform that it will copy some files over to your mobile device. Click OK on this prompt.
      11. The application will then finish installing on your mobile device and will be ready to run.

      Using Bluetooth
      1. Enable your PC's Bluetooth connection.
      2. Turn on your mobile device's Bluetooth connectivity and set it's visibility to 'shown to all'.
      3. Configure a new paired device if your PC is not already paired with your mobile device.
      4. Locate your PC on which the installer file is located.
      5. On completion of search select a device from list to make a connection.
      6. Provide the passkeys in order to allow the mobile device to communicate with your PC.
      7. Once the devices are paired, select Bluetooth File Transfer Service. Add the application installer file to the list and execute the transfer.
      8. Once transfer is complete, navigate to the folder where you copied the installer file to. Select Options > Open and proceed with installation.
      9. Select "Yes" on the device when inquired about installing the application.
      10. Select "Continue" on the details screen.
      11. On the warning screen, select "Yes" to continue with the application installation.
      12. On the memory selection screen, choose either the phone memory or the memory card for installing the application to.
      13. Once selected, the application will inform that it will copy some files over to your mobile device. Click OK on this prompt.

      5. Click the transfer arrow. The PC Suite will prompt you to complete installation on your mobile device.
      6. After installation, application permissions need to be set. You can do this by going to Options > Permissions, and set "Internet", "Multimedia" and "Read Write data" to "Always allowed".

      Using Bluetooth
      1. Enable your PC's Bluetooth connection.

      This error is usually displayed if the selected APN is temporarily not available. If you repeatedly get this error, you may not have the correct APN settings.

      Upon installation PIXLINK adds all your current media to the media gallery. However, it does not automatically upload them without your permission. To upload your media, select the media and select options>upload.

      Just snap away with your mobile device's camera. All your new media will get imported automatically in to PIXLINK's gallery.

      PIXLINK automatically uploads your media to your personal secure web space in the background, while you enjoy taking media. Select media you wish to upload and go to Options > Upload

      Also, in case of Symbian and Windows Mobile devices, whenever you capture media, you will be prompted automatically by the application to either choose:

      • No. Don't Upload (This option will not upload the captured media)
      • Yes, Upload (This option will upload the captured media)
      • Always Upload (This option will upload the captured media and any subsequent captured media without prompting you)
      • No, Never Upload (This option will not upload the captured media or any subsequent captured media)

      They show the status of your media.

      • Yellow arrow indicates a media queued for upload
      • Green arrow indicates a media that's already been uploaded
      • The Lock icon indicates private media, i.e. media that has not been shared out publicly
      • The globe icon indicates media that you've made public i.e. viewable publicly on PIXLINK's site

      PIXLINK automatically categorizes your media based on date of capture. If you choose to view your media by date, you will be taken to a categorized collection view of your media based on its date of capture.

      Simply select "View All" while on the collection view.

      Making a media public allows you to share it out with the world. When you select a media to be made public, it is made available for public viewing through the public media tab of PIXLINK's website.

      My sites are the third party destinations that you can publish your media to. These are Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Twitter, Photobucket and YouTube. To configure a site, select the site by going to Publish > Configure. Enter your site credentials, and click configure. You can also configure your sites from the main menu entry "My sites". Some sites, such as Flickr and Facebook can only be configured from the web. Go to My Account > My Sites on the Web to configure these.

      If you no longer want to publicly share a media, select the media and select Options > Make private.

      Select the media you wish to share out. Go to Options > Share by > SMS (or email) as required. On the share screen, add contacts from your mobile device's native address book or manually from the Options menu. Separate multiple recipients by semi colon or comma. Select Options > Send.

      To view a friend's media, select the friend > Open. This will display you friend's media.

      Select the media you wish to add title/ tags to. Go to Options > Edit. From the Edit screen you can add tags, a title and comments to your media.

      You can add current PIXLINK users to your friend's list. For any user, click the "Add to friends" link which will take you to Add Friend page. Click the "Add to my Friends" button to send a friend request.

      The Friends area lists ten of your friends with their media, as well as the names of all your friends.

      The friend's list displays a listing of all your or any PIXLINK's user's friends, sorted by name. Send your friends a message by selecting "Send Message". This will take you to your Inbox with Compose as pre selected.

      If a user is not added to user friends list system shall display "Add as Friend" instead. Selecting Add as Friend shall refresh the page and adds user to the friends list. After user is added system shall take user to the page on the Friends list where user is added.

      Remove a friend from your listing by selecting "Remove as Friend". You'll be asked to reconfirm the removal. Selecting "Yes" shall remove the friend from your Friend's list

      To view your friend's media page, click on the friend's username. From there, click on the Media link to view all their media. Friend's Media page will display the count of total media uploaded by friend

On the profile page, you can view your friend's personal information as well as different preferences in terms of books, music and other interests

      Your media is listed under the "My" tab. The My tab lists your media, along with its count, as well your brief profile, your inbox, friends request and a link to your account settings.

      On the "My" tab, click the "More" link under the "About me" section to view your own profile. To edit your profile, click the "Personalize" link in front of it. You can also edit your profile by going to "My account settings" > Edit profile from the "My" tab.

      On the "My" tab, click on the Media link on the top left hand corner. You will be taken to your media gallery, listing your media along with the date on which it was uploaded.

      To share media, open media in full view, and simply click the "Share" link at the bottom of the media. This will open the share page. Provide the email addresses and/or mobile numbers of the people you wish to share media with.

      On a media's full view page, you can view and post comments. Type your comment in the "Comment" text box. Click on the "Post" button. To edit your comment, click the Edit link. From the edit screen, you can also delete your comment by using the "Delete" link.

      Favorite media allows you to collect all your favorite media, whether your own, or public, or shared with you by your friends, in one place for easy access. To view your favorite media, on the "My" tab, click the "Favorites" link. This will display all your favorite media in a grid view, along with the name of the user who has uploaded the media. Select any media to open it in full view.

      You can add any media to your favorite list. On the media full view page, click the heart icon to add media to your My Favorites. When prompted for a confirmation, click "Yes" to add it to your favourites.

      You can rate any public/ friend's media. Rate media as you desire by selecting any value from 1 star (lowest) to 5 stars (highest). Once rated, a confirmation message will be shown to you.

      To add a tag to your media, open the media in full view by going to the "My" tab, and clicking on Media link > media thumbnail. Once in full view, click on the edit icon. On the edit page, type in the tags you want to add to your media separated by commas or semi colons and click on Submit. The provided tags will be added to your media.

      You can view all your tags from your "My" tab. Click on the "Tags" link. You will be shown a listing of all the tags you have added to your media. On selecting the tag you will be taken to the media page where all the media associated with the tag is displayed

      Click on a media thumbnail. This will open the media in full view. Click on the pencil icon to edit media. On Edit Media page you can set media privacy to Private, Friends, or Public. Once done, click the "Set Privacy" button.

      From any user's media gallery page, select "More" in the "About" section. You will be taken to view this user's profile. On the profile page, you can view the user's personal information as well as different preferences in terms of books, music and other interests

      Go to "My account settings" > Preferences from the "My" tab. You can choose to receive alerts whenever someone comments on your media or sends you a message. You can also edit whether you want to receive the notifications by email or by SMS.

    21. [Back to Top]I changed my mobile. What do I need to do?

      You can update your handset information by going to the "My" tab, clicking on Account settings > "Changes handset" or by pressing 5 on handset keypad.

      Select your new phone manufacture and phone models from the list. Once done, click "Save Changes".

      Go to "My account settings" > "Change Country" from the "My" tab. Select your country from the drop down list.

      Go to the "My" tab, click on Account settings > "Download mobile application" or press 8 on handset keypad. Select "Yes, Download the application" button. If your incorrect phone make and model is displayed, simply click on "No, change my handset" button to select your correct model. Read the provided installation instructions for your handset.

      The inbox will display your 10 recent messages. You can view usernames and subject line for each message. Access your inbox by going to your "My" tab. Click on "My messages" under the Notifications section. You will be taken to your inbox.

      View a message by clicking on the subject. You'll also be able to view the username and profile picture of the user who sent the message, date and subject. You can either delete the message by selecting "Delete" button or mark it as unread by selecting "Mark Unread" button.

      To reply to the message, enter text in the message field. The "To" field is pre-populated with sender's username and "Subject" field with the subject line along with RE: appended to it. Click on "Reply" to send the message.

      Or you can select a default messages and click on "Reply" button.

      You can write a new message by clicking on "Compose Message" link from the inbox. Select a recipient from the drop down list, you may send the message to only one recipient at a time. Insert a subject line and your message. Click on "Send" button to send your message. Or you can make selection from default messages, select a recipient and click "Send".

      Search allows you to find media based on keyword entered by you. If you are not signed in, your search result will only show public media.

      Your entered keyword result will display media having matching tags, username and title. You can base your search on the following options:

      • All: Search result will display all public media
      • My Friends: Search result will display your friends' media
      • My Media: Search result will display your personal media

      You will only be charged P2.50 for every photo/video you upload to your PIXLINK web account.
